It’s not often I eat breakfast but as Soph had been on an early airport run, we decided to pop out for something to eat and what appealed was the €5 Full English Breakfast offer at Silverstones at Montebello, Algorfa. We have loved visiting the Tuck Inn Chippy, each time we have visited there. For some unknown reason, we had never got around to eating at Silverstones, until today!
This is available Monday through to Fridays, from 09.30 through until 11.00. For the price, this is a bargain in all honesty. I’ve seen places charge €1.80 to €2.00 just for a large mug of tea.
What We Had
We both went for the Early Bird Breakfast, consisting of a mug of tea or coffee, and we both had tea to drink. The food components are 2 sausages, 2 friends eggs, 2 rashers of bacon, a lovely plump, plumb tomato, baked beans and toast.
The eggs were clean, by this I mean they were cooked in fresh oil, the egg whites were just that – white. We’ve seen places where they are cooking in dirty/old oil and this can be seen on the food as it’s brought out, but this was not the case here.
The sausages are the usual ones that most places offer, however the bacon was really good. Both rashers were large, full of flavour and very enjoyable.
Tomato was a good sized and there were plenty beans. The toast was sliced bread and came with a butter portion.
One thing we thought is really nice, is you are brought out one slice of toast and advised if you want the second, to ask for it to be freshly toasted. I guess this helps reduce food waste.
What We Liked
Friendly service throughout the visit, decent food and great value for money. The mugs are great, both in terms of size, but also with what they have printed on them. You even get a biscuit with your hot drink too, as part of the deal!
What Could Be Improved
For this price, absolutely nothing. I arrived hungry and left feeling full and satisfied.
What It Cost
The clue is in the name, as we didn’t have any extras, so the two x €5 Full English Breakfasts came to €10 in total. We didn’t get a receipt.
Would We Return For Another €5 Full English Breakfast
Yes we will do so at some point. One reason is so I can add black pudding and fried bread, just to see how good these are.
We enjoy the food at The Tuck Inn Chippy and here was enjoyable too.
How To Find Silverstones
Coming from Catral follow the AP-7 to CV-940 in Algorfa. Take exit 745 ( the Quesada turn off ) from the AP-7. Take the first exit off the roundabout, towards the BP fuel station as though going to Zoco Market, but at the next, small roundabout immediately take the first exit to the right. Travel along this road, basically back the way you’ve just come on the AP7, carry on past the cement factory.
At the junction by the Old Station bar, on the roundabout take the second exit onto Av. Romero. Then head slowly up the hill and you’ll see the Silverstones on your left. They have their own Facebook page too, for details of entertainment and menus.

There is a car park, with easy access available as well as on street parking too.
