It was a lovely sunny Saturday, and we took our visitor out for lunch at Little Leias Bar & Cafeteria in Quesada. We’ve been here many times and always had great food or service and although Soph and I love to venture out and explore new places, when entertaining family or friends, we find it’s easier to stick to places we know and trust. So these are places we have visited at least twice previously, and in the case of Little Leias, we have lost count of the times we have visited!
We haven’t yet got around to attending one of the music events, but these tend to book very quickly, so hopefully, at some point, we’ll get to one of those as well.
What We Had At Little Leias Bar & Cafeteria
To drink, I had a bottle of Mahou, Soph had her Coke, and her mum went for a cafe con leche.
I went for my usual here, the French Dip with the horseradish gravy. Soph decided on the Leia’s Special, while her mum chose the Tuna, Mayo, and Sweetcorn sandwich. We also went for one portion of chips and one of patata bravas to share.
My French Dip was as nice as ever, with tender meat, the side salad, and the coleslaw being the perfect accompaniment. Soph enjoyed her Special, which she said was packed with chicken, and her mum managed to finish her sandwich which was on super thick bread.
The sides were good, and we polished these off without too much debate on who got the last chip!
I didn’t have a dessert. Instead, I had a second beer, but the ladies shared the sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. They said they enjoyed the pudding which was really light, and the toffee sauce was lovely and rich.
What We Liked at Little Leias Bar & Cafeteria
The food is really good; we have never left here disappointed. Service was on point, Ian was on the ball and service was quick and friendly. There is plenty of shade if you want to sit out of the sun and they have seating indoors too.
What Could Have Been Improved at Little Leias Bar & Cafeteria
There was nothing that springs to mind. This is a friendly place to eat, has a varied menu and it’s not pretentious.
How Much Did It Cost?
For the three of us today, the bill came to €34.75. Coke and also the beer are €2.00, coffee €1.40.
My French Dip and also Sophs, Leias Special were €5.95 each, while the Tuna, Mayo & Sweetcorn sandwich was €4.75. The sides were €3.25 for the Bravas and €3.50 for the chips.
The sticky toffee pudding was €3.95.
Would We Return To Little Leias Bar & Cafeteria
Without a doubt! It’s a chilled place, with good food, and good service, and is ideal to call for either just a drink or to have a spot of lunch. It really does have something for everyone, from salads and breakfasts to an extensive range of tapas.
We have been before just for drinks, for lunches, and also called in for breakfast too.
