Wednesday evening, we popped into Rojales for a Triple Brew pizza, inspired I must admit by their Facebook post advertising a promotion they were running. Soph and I have been for pizza at the other location, just down the street, so we already knew how good these pizzas are.
When we eat out for pizza, I usually just go for the hottest, spiciest on the menu, it’s often the Divalo and most of the time, I have to ask for it Mas Picante or Mucho Picante! Sadly when it comes out, it’s not that spicy, it might just tickle the tip of my tongue.
Imagine my delight when I saw the description; Picante! Picante! Pizza: Spicy pepperoni, ‘nduja, jalapeños, and our extra spicy tomato sauce.
It was a cold night. Thankfully they have heaters, but I knew my pizza would also warm me up. As we were just finishing eating, we saw a couple coming in who had reserved a table, who live a stones throw from us.
What We Had
As tempting as starters are here, we did resist this time around.
Drinks
I started off with a small Triple Brew Golden Glow. This was quite a pleasant tasting Blonde beer, light on the palate.
Soph had an Aquarius lemon.
I then had the La Pirata Black Block Stout. Boy this was good. I’m pretty sure I have had this here before, but I honestly cannot be 100% on that.

This is a really good stout, with heavy but not overpowering notes of chocolate and coffee. At an impressive 11.20% gravity ABV, it’s one to sip and savour. Again I only had a small glass, partly because I knew if I went onto the pints, I’d have a couple more and miss the football.
But if you like a good, reliable stout, then give this La Pirata Black Block Stout a try and thank me later.
Food
We didn’t bother with any starters and with hindsight, this was a good move, as the pizzas are filling.
I went for the Picante, as I’m sure you’ve guessed already.
It was packed full of flavour, the heat was good without being too crazy hot. I really enjoyed my pizza, it hit the spot.
Soph chose the Meat Feast, as she said it sounded good in the description, ” Meat Feast: A carnivore’s dream with beef mince, lamb mince, home-smoked ham, shredded chicken, and a splash of BBQ sauce. “
This was tasty, very filling and the base was ever so light.

What We Liked
Friendly, prompt service, as ever. The food was lovely, the choice of beers and ales is super impressive.
What Could Be Improved
Not clashing with midweek football fixtures, would be my only suggestion here, but if you’re not a footy fan, then this doesn’t apply.
What Did It Cost For Our Triple Brew Pizza Night Out
The pizza offer was 2 pizzas for 15€. Sophs soft drink was, my beers were 4.00€ for the Golden Glow and 4.50€ for the Stout, and Sophie’s soft drink was 2.00€. This means the final bill was just 25.50€ for the meal and drinks.

Would We Return To Triple Brew
Yes indeed, because we have always enjoyed the food here and there’s a great drink selection, especially for ale lovers. We’ve been several times to eat here as well as down at their second location. We have also enjoyed an Oktoberfest party here, but for some reason I have never done any write ups about these visits. My bad!
Michael and the girls are very welcoming and the food is always enjoyable.

How To Find Triple Brew
We come down the AP7, and take exit 740 toward Almoradí/Rojales/Guardamar/Daya Nueva, onto the CV-905 through Formentera Del Segura. Follow the CV-905 into the town and then at the stop sign take the right, towards the bridge. This is a no entry over the bridge, so you need to take the left or right ( this is where the Sabadell Bank is ) and then try find parking nearby.
It’s often easier to park over the other side of the river near the market place and walk.
