Lilly Bunters Afternoon Tea

Lovely Lilly Bunters Afternoon Tea

HeyDaveHere, December 10, 2025December 10, 2025

Today was our pre booked Christmas Lilly Bunters afternoon tea and it was fabulous. We had called in a few weeks ago, as they now make their own delicious pork pies with jelly and collected one. Anyway, to kill a couple of birds with one stone, so to speak, we booked in for the afternoon tea.

What We Had

Drinks we both just had tea, this was served in a proper tea pot with china cups which added to the sense of this being a special treat. We were offered cava, but we both declined as nothing beats a cuppa with sandwiches and cake!

Food.

Everything was brought out together, nicely presented and all freshly prepared.

Savouries.

We had 3 different sandwiches each, Coronation chicken , egg and mayo and a really nice turkey, stuffing and cranberry one.

On the savoury side, there was also a mini sausage roll, a prawn vol au vent, pig in blanket and a home made quiche which was so good and packed full of flavour.

Sweets.

First was a mini individual cheesecake, followed by a really good mince pie, the pastry on this was excellent. On the top we had a carrot cake and also a very rich, moist and tasty chocolate brownie.
There was also a scone each, with cream and jam, but we ended up taking these away with us, as we were so full.

What We Liked

Excellent service throughout, the staff work well as a team. The food was really good, everything looked and tasted great. To be honest, the service here is always excellent.
There was a nice atmosphere, background Christmas music playing, but it wasn’t loud enough to be intrusive.

What Could Be Improved

Absolutely nothing. The service was on point, we were asked if we wanted the scones and a sandwich we had left, wrapping up to take away and we were offered more tea when the pot had run dry.

What It Cost For Our Lilly Bunters Afternoon Tea

The afternoon teas were 18.50€ each, but because we didn’t have Cava with our afternoon tea, we charged 1.50€ less, which was both unexpected but also a lovely idea. So, our Lilly Bunters Afternoon Tea were 17€ each without the cava. I couldn’t resist also ordering a couple if pork pies to collect today so they were ready for us as well. If you’ve not yet tried them, I reckon they are one of the best available in the area.

Would We Return

Yes we would and yes we do as it is. They make wonderful sausage rolls here, and all other savoury and sweet delights. As I mentioned above, they do really good, ‘proper’ pork pies with jelly in them. They also make an amazing passion fruit cheesecake.

Lilly Bunters celebrate their first anniversary on the 13th December. It’s great to see this business thrive but with great service and fantastic food, it’s not difficult to see why.

How To Find Lilly Bunters

Their address is: C Pascual Guerrero Culiañez 32A 03158.
If you know where the Dia supermarket is, then it’s just across from there, next to GoodFellas barbers shop.
They are on Facebook, and they update their page on a very regular basis and the food looks just as good in real life as it does on the photos, plus it all tastes amazing!

They’re doing another Christmas Lilly Bunters Afternoon Tea on Wednesday 17th December, if you haven’t booked already, do so now.
