So after visiting the La Fortaleza Jacarilla, we headed off up the road, swung back around at the roundabout and took the slip road to visit the Restaurante Vistabella. Be warned this car park is on a slope, so if you don’t fancy the hike, there are parking spaces near the door.
This is a lovely place, both of the staff spoke to us as we entered and we immediately felt at home!
I ordered at the bar, a Radler, a coke and a tapa ( basically the exact same drinks as across the road, as both serve Alhambra beers ) but this time we chose the Magra Con Tomate. You know when a dish is just so good, you want to order it again…. Well this was just so good, but Soph managed to stop me reordering, as we needed to make tracks.
We seated ourselves on the terrace, in the shade, and the server brought out a couple of plates, knives and forks each, in a napkin, condiments and also a small plate of salted peanuts.
Our order was quickly brought out to us, both the drinks and the tapa. Bread was very fresh and the Magra was delicious.
Once again the bill came to €8.50, offering good value.
The small beer was €2.50, Soph had a large bottled Coke at €2.50 and the tapa was €3.50
Would We Return?
More a case of when can we return to Bar Restaurante Vistabella, as we are going to try their menu del dia next time. We are actually going back there this week, as we want to try them out for lunch.
Don’t worry, we’ll do a write up about the lunch experience too.
