Nerja Tapas Route 2024

We’ve got the information you need to know about the 2024 Nerja Tapas Route, for those who are wanting to partake. Running from April 8th through to the 21st, there are 15 bars and restaurants taking part. This event is sure to be popular and it is following on from the Nerja Medieval Market in Plaza de España, running from April 4th to the 7th.

This is the 10th tapas trail in Nerja and there are some great prizes available to win, as well as refreshments and food to be consumed. It’s worthwhile casting your votes as winners of the bar / restaurant that gets the most votes, they will receive a prize of 300 euros and a trip for two people.

The establishments who come runners up win too. Whoever comes in second place will receive 150 euros and the third place will receive 100 euros. Check back to the local town hall website for more information.

For those of you who are voting, the winner of this 10th Tapa Route will receive as a prize a dinner for four people and their weight in beer. So, if you laugh at overweight people, you’ll be jealous if they win their 18 stones in weight of beer!

I’m aware this tapas trail clashes with others such as the Torrevieja Tapas Train event, which runs the exact same dates. It also runs when the El Raso event takes place.

These Are Great Events

As I have often mentioned in previous posts, these tapas trails are an excellent way to try new bars that you may have never visited before. I have lost count of the number of places now, that we visited on one of these events, tried the tapas being served and loved it. So much so, we then returned and have had a meal ( or in some instances, become regulars ) at these venues, purely based on taste testing the tapas.

Another advantage of attending these events, is you get the chance to network, meet new people and usually bump into old friends, while you are out and about.
