Oscars breakfast

Oscars In Quesada For Breakfast – Good Value.

HeyDaveHere, March 8, 2026March 8, 2026

Sunday saw us out and about collecting some chilli plants and honey, so as we were in Quesada, we decided to grab breakfast, well brunch really as it was past 11am. Now, we chose Oscars because we see them getting recommended often, both for breakfasts and also for Sunday lunch, when people ask on social media.

Actually, we visited here a long time ago and it wasn’t good service, but we decided to give them another try and I’m glad we did. We know that restaurants and bars can sometimes have an “off-day”, which is why we will often try a place for a second attempt. However, if they screw up the second visit, that’s them on the places not to bother with list.

Sunday was overcast, not overly warm and as such, the high street was fairly quiet, meaning we got a parking space.

What We Had

We both ordered a tea to drink, then browsed the menu and then we both decided that we’d have a breakfast, so ordered the large breakfast each. I said to Soph, I’d help her out with hers, if she struggled to eat it all.

The tea was served in a mug, so a good sized drink, the drinks also came with a wonderful little cookie biscuit.

Our breakfasts were very filling so be warned if you pick the large breakfast! The bacon was really nice and tasty. The eggs were lovely and white and clearly cooked in clean oil; there’s nothing more off putting than food being served that looks ‘dirty’ around the edges.

What We Liked

Good honest food, friendly welcoming service and the staff were busy, but service was superb throughout. What we had to eat and drink was really good value for money!

There is seating both inside and out doors, although it’s out of season, we managed to park close by too.

What Could Be Improved

Actually, nothing about our visit raised any issues at all. It’s a clearly popular place and that’s good enough really.

How Much Did It Cost

All in the bill was 16€, which was for two large breakfasts including the drinks.

If you’re wanting a decent, fill you up full English breakfast, this hit the mark for us, at a really good price.

Would We Return To Oscars

The food that was coming out on Sunday all looked nice, while we were there. Also, on their Facebook page the photos of desserts and Sunday lunches, both looked really good too. So, yes we will return probably to try their Sunday lunch next time, but they do a Friday offer with happy hour and tapas promotions, so that might be another option.

I’m glad we revisited and even more so as it was a nice breakfast.

How To Get To Oscars

If you’re coming in from the AP7, come off the roundabout and drive up through the arches, past the petrol station, and on the left as you go up the hill, about 50 metres from the Sabadell bank.
Their actual address is Av. De Las Naciones 1C Local 8, Ciudad Quesada, Spain, 03170, if you’re needing to use Satnav.
