Saturday saw us try out Bella’s Coffee Lounge in Quesada. Soph had told me about this place, she said I’d probably like it and she wasn’t wrong.
If you’re wanting a relaxed atmosphere, great coffee, and excellent cakes, this is a place to consider, for sure.
What We Had
I went for a cafe con leche, which tends to be my go-to coffee. Soph asked for a tea, it was winter and cold outside after all.
Soph said she was going to try a soft baked cookie, so being the good husband I am, I said I hate to see you eating alone, so I said I’d try a brownie.
Sadly, they’d sold out of the cookies, so Soph had to have something different. She said she’d try the cinnamon roll instead.
Drinks.
My cafe con leche was lovely, it was a very nice and smooth blend. Soph liked that her tea was served in a tea pot, so she could get two cups out of it. It’s good to see a barista who enjoys crafting their coffees, for customers.
Food.
My brownie was gorgeous, it was soft, gooey, tasty, rich and as you might have guessed I enjoyed it. I tend not to have cakes and buns etc, but this was well worth testing out.
Soph really enjoyed her cinnamon roll too. This was ever so light and went well with her tea.
What We Liked
A spotlessly clean location, and I went to wash my hands in the gents, which were clean, fresh and tidy.
Brilliant service from the three staff members we had interactions with. As my brownie was being brought to the table, the knife fell off the plate, onto the table, and my server apologized for this, and she replaced the knife, even though I said it wasn’t a problem to me, as it had landed on the table.
The quality of the food was really nice too. Soph stole a tiny bit of my brownie and she couldn’t believe how good it was.
What Could Be Improved
A tongue in cheek comment would be: Have more soft cookies available, but to avoid possible food waste, this is not too serious a suggestion.
What It Cost
Soph’s Breakfast tea in a tea post 1.95€, my cafe con leche was 1.90€.
The amazing brownie was 3.20€ and Sophs cinnamon roll was 2.50€
This means our overall bill was 9.55€, which is a good value!
Would We Return To Bella’s Coffee Lounge
Yes, we would do so. I like a nice coffee and although all bars sell coffee it’s nice every now and again to have a good coffee or tea in a specialist coffee shop. At the bottom end of Quesada you have Urban Coast Cafe, and now at the top end you have Bella’s Coffee Lounge.
Their opening times at the time of posting this are shown as: Mon–Sat 9am–4pm.

Okay, they have on their website this address: We are on C. Turismo, 1b, Ciudad Quesada, Alicante, 03170 but on their Facebook page they have listed: Calle Blanca, 1B, Ciudad Quesada, Spain.
They’re on Google Maps, to double theck their location.
An easy way to describe how to get here is to come up the high street ( Av. de las Naciones ), where we managed to find a parking space. On foot, we crossed the road, we turned left onto Calle Blanca so Goyos is directly in front. You can only turn left there, due to the no entry, and we walked down here, passing Diva’s Gin & Prosecco Bar and you’ll find Bella’s Coffee Lounge on your right.
There is very limited on street parking, so you might need to do a couple of circuits, or park up and walk to here.
