Ice Queen Guardamar

Ice Queen Guardamar Breakfast: Yummy!

HeyDaveHere, November 23, 2025November 23, 2025

We had breakfast down at Ice Queen Guardamar today. Last year we visited their Playa Flamenca location around the time we booked our lunch visit for Fetta Nera, but just called in for a drink back then.
Anyhow, fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, Soph browsing on Facebook and I did my usual of sending her a link to a photo of food. This time it was the Ice Queen breakfast sharing platter. After asking what dates, she went ahead and booked for us.

What We Had At Ice Queen Guardamar

Quite an easy one this, we both had the breakfast sharing platter.
This consists of several different components, both savoury and sweet, hot and cold, and both white and brown crusty bread.
The drinks are included, so we both had orange juice, then Soph had a black tea, while I had a cafe con leche. Both these hot drinks came with a biscuit too.

On The Platter

Fried eggs, which were lovely, golden yolks and a couple of rashes of very tasty bacon. We had a piece of crusty, fresh white bread, so I had my egg on this.

On the lovely, fresh, crusty brown bread we had cold ham and cheese.

There was Greek yoghurt to which we added melon, blueberries and, for that bit of texture and crunch, granola. We both had a piece of Kiwi fruit on the platter, Soph had hers and she did find it a little bit tart, so I took the cowards way out and left mine.

There were 2 pancakes each and also a waffle cut in half each. To top these off there was jam, honey and maple syrup.

Everything was very fresh and of high quality.

What We Liked

Everything was good, the service was very friendly and prompt, the location was spotlessly clean.
The food was great, there was nothing not to like.

What Could Be Improved?

A couple of small tweaks, which aren’t huge really.
First of all the 4 small jars with the jams etc, weren’t labelled. Maybe a small label or an A6 laminated card on the platter to identify what they were.

Secondly, the cutlery came out in a container with the napkin. We had a knife, a fork and a spoon. We used the knife and fork for the bacon and eggs, so we had no clean knife to get the nutella etc from the above mentioned jars.

Granted we could have asked for these, but the place was getting busy and the woman serving was dealing with other customers, but maybe a fork, 2 knives and 2 spoons would be better, per person.

What It Cost Us Today

The breakfast / brunch came to 21.95€ for us both. This included the orange juice and Soph’s tea and my lovely cafe con leche.

Would We Return To Ice Queen Guardamar

This is a yes from us both. All the different food coming out to the other tables looked lovely. It was well presented, looked fresh and the people were tucking into their tostadas, bocadillas and other dishes.

They have a great range of different dishes on the menu and they update their Facebook page quite often.

How To Get To Ice Queen Guardamar del Segura

If you know the town, it’s easy enough to find. As we don’t live there, we used Satnav, although looking on the map, we had a pretty good idea as to where they are.

Their address is: Calle de la Puerta de Tripoli 4 , , Guardamar del Segura, Spain, 03140

The link to Google Maps is here, if you use that.

Parking is only on street parking, we fell lucky and got the only spare spot as we arrived, so you might be advised to arrive a little before your reservation time, if you need to find parking.
