Harrys Bar Quesada

Harrys Bar Quesada Nice Indian Buffet

HeyDaveHere, November 16, 2025November 16, 2025

We’d seen Harrys Bar Quesada advertise their Indian buffet evening a few times in the past, so we decided to give it a try. I do like Indian food, in fact, I like all types of curries.

What We Had

We both had a soft drink, and Coke Zero was our beverage of choice.
For the food, we tried a little bit of each of the different dishes on the buffet.

Starters

There were onion bhajis which were the flattened style as to the hand rolled ball shaped ones. These were tasty, and I went back for more of these.

Samosas, were delicious. They are meat variety ( just incase you’re a veggie ) but they were crammed full of filling, had a little kick of heat in there.

Chicken Tikka, was on the bone but cooked nicely.

Popadoms, side salad ingredients and raita, sambal and these were there to help yourself to, also.

Sides

The plain naans were light and fresh, cut in half, these were great for scooping up the curries.

There was a choice of plain white rice or flavoured rice. Again, ideal to add the curries to.

Side Dishes at Harrys Bar Quesada

Curry Dishes

There were 6 different curries to choose from, including a couple of vegetarian options. Although it’s not obvious in the images of the currys, it’s worth noting that all of the meat ones had big chunks of tender meat.

Chana Masala

Very tasty, a really nice kick of heat that was very subtle at first, but came into play at the end.

Aloo Gobi

This second option for the non meat eaters was tasty.

Butter Chicken

Soph enjoyed this dish, it was different to what she’s had previously, butsaid but it was tasty.

Chicken Makhani / Kadai

I really like this, the meat was lovely and tender, the flavours not overpowering.

Pork Bhuana

This was an okay dish, to be honest it is rare I ever eat pork as a curry, I usually go for lamb, mutton or prawns, then chicken or beef.

Beef Madras

This was my favourite dish of the evening, it was full of tender beef, there was just enough heat in there so it wasn’t too hot. Soph knows when a “hotter” curry is good as my face turns red as I am finishing it off. This was a really nice madras dish, and yes I did have seconds of this.

Desserts

There were desserts available to serve yourself, I didn’t bother, Soph went and came back with two portions of the cakes, which she had actually cut in half, as they were large pre sliced portions.
These are your run of the mill, bought in desserts, but ideal if you just need that sweetness to finish off your meal.

What We Liked

The service was friendly, welcoming and you were made to feel welcome. The food was surprisingly better than expected, it was very enjoyable.

What Could Be Improved

Actually, there is nothing from last night that was an issue. This place has great reviews on Facebook, including from people I either know or interact with, so this is another good sign.

The decor is a little like stepping back in time in Bradford. However, this does not detract from the lovely food last night.

Harrys Bar Quesada Curry Evening

What Did It Cost

Our bill last night came to 34.80€, which simply breaks down as the Indian buffet at 14.90€ each and we both had a can of Coke Zero which were 2.50€ each.

Would We Return To Harry’s Bar Quesada

Actually, yes we would. The food we ate here was decent, the service was welcoming and friendly. It’s located in an interesting area of Quesada, somewhere we have never ventured to before and, at night time, it was ‘interesting’.
For those who read my posts and know Bradfords curry scene, think Karachi Restaurant on 15 Neal St, Bradford BD5 or Kashmir 27 Morley St, Bradford BD7, as opposed to Mumtaz in terms of decor and location.

They have quite a varied menu, as you can see here, but there’s plenty on there. They also do full English breakfasts with fried bread, I noticed.

How To Find Harrys Bar Quesada

Unless you know this area of Quesada either Satnav is your friend, or even better if you want a drink, they advertise local collections / drop off transport. I think this is a great idea and hats off to them for doing this.

Their address is Av. de La Costa Azul, Quesada, which is somewhere we had never been to before, so we had our Satnav to thank. They are on Google Maps too, if you prefer that option.
