GLS Tracking Spain

GLS Tracking Spain Information

HeyDaveHere, February 10, 2025February 10, 2025

We have some hints and tips about GLS Tracking Spain for your parcels and packets. Soph orders quite a few bits and pieces online and GLS are one of the more reliable couriers.
When we lived down in Granada province, we used to collect from the GLS depot in Baza, as it was too difficult for their drivers to find our house, out in the campo.

With GLS tracking in Spain, you can easily monitor your parcel’s journey by entering your tracking number online. You’ll get real-time updates and an estimated delivery time slot when your package is “On delivery.” If you’re unable to receive your parcel, GLS offers flexible options, including picking it up at one of over 6,300 Parcel Shop locations. To find out more about how the service works and what to expect, keep exploring this topic.

Overview of GLS Tracking Services

When you send or receive a parcel with GLS, tracking your shipment is straightforward and efficient. You can easily monitor your parcel online at any time by entering one or more parcel numbers.

For real-time tracking, use the Track ID found on your notification card. GLS offers delivery information in real-time in many countries, giving you peace of mind.

Generally, domestic shipments are delivered within 24 working hours, while standard delivery across Europe takes between 24 to 96 hours. Deliveries occur from Monday to Friday, usually between 9 am and 8 pm, except for Saturday Express deliveries, which arrive before midday.

Be sure to check the “Shipping Tracking” page for updates on your parcel’s status.

How to Use GLS Tracking Spain

To check your shipping status with GLS in Spain, just head to the “Track Shipments” page.

Enter your GLS tracking number or destination postcode to see where your parcel is at any moment.

If you don’t have a tracking number, reach out to your supplier for assistance.

Shipping Status

Understanding your shipment’s status with GLS Tracking in Spain is straightforward. You can easily track your parcel online by entering one or more parcel numbers.

Once you do, you’ll see various statuses your shipment might go through. It may start as “Label created,” meaning GLS hasn’t picked it up yet.

Once picked up, it’ll show as “Parcel picked up by GLS.” If there’s a slight hiccup, like being “In transit,” expect a delay of about 24 hours.

When it’s “Out for delivery,” your package is close; you can even activate live tracking if it’s less than 10 stops away.

Finally, when it says “Delivered,” your shipment has reached you. Stay updated and enjoy the process!

Benefits of Real-Time Package Tracking

Real-time package tracking offers you peace of mind, as it allows you to monitor your shipment’s journey from the moment it leaves the sender to its arrival at your doorstep.

You can track your parcel online anytime by simply entering your parcel number or using a Track ID found on your notification card.

Once your shipment is “On delivery,” you can check the indicative delivery time slot, helping you plan your day better.

If you anticipate being unavailable, you can easily select the “Pick up at GLS Parcel Shop” option for convenience.

With the “My GLS” app, tracking your shipments becomes quick and intuitive, ensuring you stay informed every step of the way.

Unable To Receive Delivery

Not every moment is convenient for receiving a package, and that’s where GLS offers flexible solutions.

If you think you’ll be away during the delivery time, consider picking up your shipment at one of over 6,300 Parcel Shop GLS collection points.

It’s simple! Just access your shipment tracking online and click on “Pick up at convenience point.”

Select your preferred Parcel Shop and confirm. Once the status shows “Deposited at Parcel Shop,” you can collect your parcel at your convenience.

Enjoy the long opening hours of these shops, making it easy for you to receive your packages safely and on your schedule.

Don’t stress about missed deliveries; GLS has got you covered!

Label Created Text Status

Sometimes, you might notice the status “Label created” on your shipment for several days without any updates.

This means the sender has generated the shipping label but hasn’t handed the package over to GLS yet. As a result, your shipment isn’t in our network or any of our facilities.

Unfortunately, until we physically receive the package, we can’t provide specific delivery information. To get more details, it’s best to reach out to the sender directly. They can clarify the situation and update you on when the package will be dispatched.

Tracking your parcel online is easy, but remember that “Label created” simply indicates it’s still in the sender’s hands.

Wrapping Things Up

With around 570 agencies and 23 depots across Spain, we have found GLS to be straight forward to deal with. Don’t be afraid to use them yourself. Up here in the Valencia region we have found them to be really good with deliveries, but the fact we are not a 10 minute drive down a country track helps!
