First Time To The Orange Bar

First Time To The Orange Bar Vistabella

HeyDaveHere, November 28, 2025November 28, 2025

On Wednesday of this week, Soph and I were in the area and decided to call into The Orange Bar, which we see posting quite often on social media. We’ve never called in here before as it’s rare we are actually on Vistabella Golf, so it was nice to visit somewhere new to us.

Soph mentioned she’d seen they did a hot turkey roll, from 11am and as it was just before noon, we decided to give this a try as a brunch option.

The Orange Bar Turkey Sarnie

What We Had

Drinks.

I had a cafe con leche and as we were sat enjoying ourselves, we decided to have a second drink, so I had another of these. Soph started off with a black tea and her second drink was a Coke Zero.

Food.

We both had a turkey sarnie, and ordered one with chips which we shared the chips. Mine I ordered with the stuffing and Soph went for the cranberry option.
These were good value, the bread rolls were lovely and soft with just the right amount of gravy.

Now, the reason I had a second coffee was their offer on the counter, advertising coffee and a mince pie for 3.50€. As this was going to be my very first mince pie since February, I thought I’d try one.

What We Liked

A friendly, homely place, there were several regulars already there and more arrived, so it is popular. They offer good value for money food and drink, the coffee was a large cup.

What Could Be Improved

There was nothing really; we didn’t get a receipt, but that was about it, although as we paid by card, we got a copy of the card receipt instead and I’m sure if we asked then one would have been provided.

What It Cost

The bill came to 19,10€ for everything. As we didn’t get an itemised receipt, I am guessing at a few of these prices.
The turkey sandwich was 4€ on it’s own and the other was 6.50€ with chips. The cup of coffee with a mince pie was 3.50€ which comes to 14€. This means the other 5.10€ was split between a cup of tea, a white coffee with milk and also a can of Coke Zero. Which, all in all, makes it great value.

Would We Return To The Orange Bar

Actually, yes we probably would if we were in the area, however there are also several other places that are new to us, that we’d consider trying out too.

It’s clear this is a popular venue and has regular customers. It’s get’s plenty of sun too, so even in the covered oudoor area, we were warm enough.

As they are active on Facebook, you can see what their promotions and events are, in advance too.

How To Find The Orange Bar At VistaBella Golf

If you’re coming down the AP-7, from the Catral end, instead of coming off at the Quesada exit and meandering past Zoco market etc, you are best to carry on down the AP-7 to the next exit, which is signposted for Los Montesinos. Take exit 751 toward Los Montesinos. Come up the slip road, then at the huge roundabout, take the first exit and head towards Orihuela along the CV-945. About 4.5km along there, you’ll see the signs on the right for VistaBella Golf.

The Orange Bar is located on – Entre Naranjos / Vistabella Golf, Calle Melocotonero, Orihuela 03319. Not too far from Los Montesinos, San Miguel and Bigastro. Check Google Maps too, if you’re still unsure.
