Breakfast At V9 Gastrobar Quesada

HeyDaveHere, May 29, 2024May 28, 2024

We’ve been to Vista Lounge several times, and having seen people eating across at V9 Gastrobar, we’ve often said that we need to go there one day. I’ve then gone home, added this to my spreadsheet of places to try, and left it at that. Anyway, to cut a long story short, they recently posted about their breakfast on social media and that spurred us on to go and try their offering.

They have lots of outdoor seating and there are parasols for the hotter days of the year. There’s also plenty of seating inside if you’d prefer to be in the shade.

Their V9 Gastrobar Social Mix events run from 2 pm until 6 pm and include a Happy Hour from 4 pm until 6 pm. They charge a small fee of 10, but this includes appetiser food stations. We have not managed to attend one of these as yet, but this is on our list of things to do, places to see, and people to meet. there are more details about these events on their Facebook page.

What We Had At V9 Gastrobar In Quesada

For drinks, I ordered a large white coffee, while Soph had a tea. For the food, Soph tried out the veggie breakfast while I jumped straight in for a large breakfast. While we both enjoy a traditional Spanish tostada, every now and then I get the urge for a full English!

I did have a second coffee and Soph had an orange juice later on too.

What We Liked At V9

Service was very friendly and welcoming; it seemed the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure everything was as good as it could be. I asked if I could have scrambled eggs with my breakfast and was told I could, so Soph followed suit as well. This was a nice touch as some bars don’t offer any changes to what’s on the menu or they make an extra charge.

The coffee and tea both come in mugs, not tiny cups, which is another plus point, especially first thing in the morning!

What Could Be Improved

Soph felt that the veggie breakfast could have really done with a veggie sausage just to give the meal a little more substance or even offer the opportunity to add one on at an extra cost. The breakfast is very good value at 4,50€ so an extra euro or so for the sausage would be absolutely fine.

The homemade hash brown didn’t do it for me, but that’s just a personal preference.

How Much Was Breakfast

The large breakfast was 7, 50€ and the vegetarian breakfast was 4,50€. The coffees were 1,90€ each, the tea 1,30€ and the bottle of orange juice 2,50€.

Would We Return To V9 Gastrobar

Yes, we would. The service was great, the food was good and it’s a nice place to sit and watch the world go by while enjoying a meal. They also have social events and music, so this would be another reason to return.

How To Find V9 Gastrobar Quesada

It’s ever so easy to get to V9 Gastrobar if you know Quesada, but even as a visitor it is simple to find. Go through the arches, up the road and just before the roundabout where the taxi rank is, it is on your right, near the small shopping precinct, but you need to look up, as it is on the first floor level and not at ground floor.

The address is; Quesada Boulevard, Avenida de las Naciones 22, Ciudad Quesada 03170 Rojales.
If there’s no on-street parking available, they are above the underground car park, so it’s easy enough to park.
Another great thing about here and the Vista Lounge is they have a lift, for those who need access and can’t easily manage stairs.
