Bar Casa Pepe Los Montesinos Tapas In The Sun

Bar Casa Pepe Los Montesinos Tapas In The Sun

HeyDaveHere, February 20, 2026February 20, 2026

Wednesday we enjoyed tapas and drinks, sat out in the sunshine at Bar Casa Pepe Los Montesinos. This is one of those authentic places, many Spanish customers go there and the tables out the front are in the sunshine. We’d driven past and there were several people there and it looked like all the tables were in use, but 20 minutes later on our return, there were tables free, so Soph dropped me off, while she went to park the car.

This is a delightful little bar, we have been to a few times over the years.

What We Had

We had a couple of drinks each and a tapas each with each of the drinks.
I had 2 large beers ( tanques) while Soph went for a Coke Zero, canned served with a glass and ice.

Tapas, for the first round I ordered Magra for Soph, this was lovely and tasty. This was served with a good sized bread basket.

My first dish was liver and it was really good, very tasty and I was tempted to have the same for my second dish, it was that good.

For our second tapas round, we had croquettes and tortilla. Both these were fine and again, we got bread basket.

What We Liked

It’s traditional, it’s authentic and the sun was out. The tapas is good, the drinks are cold. Service is friendly and there’s not a lot more to wish for.

What Could Be Improved

We didn’t get a receipt. That is basically it. Everything else is as it says on the tin, so to speak.

What It Cost At Bar Casa Pepe Los Montesinos

This is pure guess work, as we didn’t get a receipt, but the bill was 19€.

I had 2 tanques of beer, so we are guessing these were 4€ each. Soph had two canned soft drinks, so worst case these were 2€ each. Therefore the 4 tapas dishes were 2€ each.

Alternatively, the beers could have been 3.50€ each and the soft drinks 1.50€ each ( the same as on our previous visits ), meaning the tapas came to 9 euros.

Irrespective, it was excellent value for money and very enjoyable

Would We Return To Bar Casa Pepe Los Montesinos

Oh yes, this is a nice, authentic tapas bar. They do have an outdated Facebook page, but this does have their details on.

How To Find Bar Casa Pepe Los Montesinos

Coming into the town from the AP7 / San Miguel end, there’s the car parking on your left, parking there is a good option. It’s then a 2 minute walk, on the left. Their address is listed as av del mar 104, Los Montesinos, Spain, 03187.
