Stan And Ollies Restaurant El Raso Lunch Visit

Stan And Ollies Restaurant El Raso Lunch Visit

HeyDaveHere, March 24, 2026March 24, 2026

We eventually got round to visiting Stan and Ollies Restaurant on El Raso, for a meal. We’ve really enjoyed the tapas here on the tapas run and a friend of our at Christmas was going to book a group of us in for a meal, which sadly we never got to do. So, I’d seen their menu del dia on Facebook and suggested to Soph, we take a drive out and give it a try.

Stan and Ollies Restaurant menu del dia

What We Had

As mentioned, we had already decided to try out the menu del dia, there’s some nice options on there. I was torn between the pan fried chicken livers or the red Thai mussels to start.

Drinks.

This was a belated birthdaylunch for Soph, and she had a tinto de verano, while I had a tanque of beer. I went for the San Miguel.

Food.
For her starter, Soph went with the soup of the day, which was Leek and Potato and was very good. It was a proper, homemade soup, it had taste and also texture. This came with a fresh bread roll.

Red Thai mussels won the toss of the coin for me. The image probably doesn’t do this justice as there was a good portion here, and the sauce was just enough that you didn’t need bread to mop up and nor did you leave any. Subtle flavours with a gentle heat, very nice!

The mains we chose different dishes again. Soph was deciding between the teriyaki pork stir fry or the Angus steak burger, she did go for the burger.

The fries were light, not stodgy, the burger was tasty, the slight negative was this is advertised as being served in a brioche bun, but it came in a soft bread bun instead. Not a huge issue, but one to mention.

I chose the tuna and really enjoyed this. This was a pan fried tuna steak, served pink on a bed of greens, with a couple of really nice, roasted new potatoes and a side of salsa verde sauce.

Desserts, we again ordered different. I had the cheesecake of the day, which we were advised was maltiser cheesecake. It was nicely presented and the taste was fine.

Soph who makes bread and butter pudding at home sometimes, went for this option off the menu. This was a reheated in the microwave dish, as it was scalding hot and she found it quite bland in her opinion. It wasn’t a traditional English bread and butter pudding, but she finished it off.

We didn’t have coffee, although we were offered it.

What We Liked

Excellent service, our server was attentive, friendly and we got a check back after each course. The restaurant was spotlessly clean and had a nice feel to it. The food was all nicely presented.

What Could Be Improved

Not really an improvement, but a suggestion here, would be to have a cocktail menu available. As this was Sophs birthday lunch, on the drive across I’d said I would drive and for her to have a cocktail or two.

How Much Did It Cost

The lunch for us both at Stan and Ollies Restaurant came to 36.90€.

The menu del dia s 14.95€ each, excluding the drinks. My pint of beer was 3,50€ and Sophie’s Tinto De Verano was also 3,50€.

Would We Return To Stan And Ollies Restaurant El Raso

I think the simple answer is yes, we would do, maybe for a Sunday lunch. There have been a few times over the past couple or three years where we have seen their menu published and said, ” We’ll have to try their Sunday lunch”, but never got around to it.

How To Find Stan And Ollies Restaurant On El Raso

If you drive onto the urb, on your right is the car park and chemist etc, just before the first roundabout. At this roundabout, if you look to your right, then this is the Stan and Ollies restaurant.

There is limited on street parking, today we got a space across from the restaurant. You have the option of the smaller car park where the farmacia is located and walk down, or the larger car park across by Legends and a short stroll down.

Their address is C/Nostra Senyora de Fatima 10. El Raso, Guardamar del Segura, Spain, 03149 and they’re contactable on 637583373 for reservations.

They have a really active Facebook page too, with menus and opening times on there.
